AND THERE ARE 13 REASON WHY THIS BS IS USELESS: (EVEN THO ITS NOT ATROCIOUS)

1. Megadeth shouldve just retired at that point. Especially if it was the self-titled if they made this 2026 album a few years ago it would get higher scores and ppl wouldnt call it trash lol.

2. Theyre not the same anymore. (I mean just look at the 371937192742 bandmate changes)

3. Theyre cool but not enough to make something i'd care to check out again.

4. This is their billionth meh album.

5. I dont like ... read more

Continuing their biennial release streak of the late 00s/early 10s, Megadeth's 13th studio album, aptly named Th1rt3en, marked another bump in the road after two strong albums in a row. It simply isn't sustainable for a legacy band like Megadeth to release a new album every two years, and this record makes that clear.

This album goes back to the same old same old that the band had been doing for a while now on this album. Nothing too interesting on here but there were a few decent songs for sure. A lot of songs were just ok and not too memorable but there wasn’t anything bad either. It was alright and pretty decent but still just nowhere near as good as their old stuff. Once again I sound like a broken record.

This album is a collection of old songs Mustaine released on a b-side album, with some forgettable and generic thrash new songs that doesn't add up much on the discography but at least is a fun listen.

Genuinely the second Megadeth album I listened to after Peace Sells. Good memories, and it's nostalgia bait for me.
