Oh boy, this is going to be a doozy.
I want to begin by saying I don't *hate* this album, but I also don't like it. I don't hate Sleep Token, either. I in fact praised Sundowning, and praised TPWBYT even harder. To me, Sleep token is both overhated and overrated. The second album of my Sleep Token review dive is also their sophomore album, This Place Will Become Your Tomb (or TPWBYT for the remainder of this review)
Let me start off by saying the aesthetics of this album are perfect. I think the usage of oceanic themes is genius for a band with a concept of cults and mystery. I decided to re-listen and review all current Sleep Token albums and EPs since Even in Arcadia is set to be released in about a month from now. These wont be in order of release date, but in the order of when I listened to them

Starting to get into more ambient and slowcore
I edit my rankings & reviews often because I’m incredibly indecisive, & I have a mix of funny joke-y reviews, to genuine ones. Whichever I feel like making in the moment
I rarely rank lower than 40. I don’t see a point in putting effort in something I didn’t like
