Joji - PIXELATED KISSES
95

BALLADS joji updated for the modern palate. An energetic, distorted banger with some great production and vocals.

detahjae - TEST?!
95

His best song so far. Solves a lot of the issues i've had with his music in the past and delivers a really interesting experimental banger which sounds like he is finally fully coming into his own as an artist. Great production and vocals.

Rich Amiri - Grit & Grace
69

Not horrible at all, overall the production ranges from decent to great and the rapping is just okay.

Khalid - after the sun goes down
75

Some very decent pop music. Not super unique but an easy listen overall with some nice production

Lil B - P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thug)
75

not quite as fun or interesting as some of the other lil b projects i've heard, but has a few bangers.

Lil B - Everything Based
85

great swag rap with some fairly inconsistent beat choices but great energy and personality throughout. also that joe budden diss is insane holy

Jonny Greenwood - One Battle After Another (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
85

a truly unique soundtrack for a really great movie. The use of piano on this soundtrack is really cool, a lot more prominent than most movie scores. Genuinely so well done

Lil B - Im Gay (Im Happy)
100

amazing beat selection as is customary with Lil B's music early (?) music, and really enjoyable throughout with some great introspective and conscious lyrics from Lil B.

85

first two tracks are phenomenal, the rest are pretty decent. Some really boring tracks but they can be forgiven because the good tracks trend closer to great than mid.

Lil B - Gods Father
89

genuinely amazing beat selection with some really funny bars and genuinely great flows from Lil B for the most part. really enjoyable project despite its whopping 34 tracks and nearly 2 hour timespan.

bbno$ - ADD
NR

music video is cool.

Lovejoy - One Simple Trick
67

its decent, good but not great. Overall there isn't much you can get from this project you couldn't get from any other indie rock band. not horrible, but really just not that interesting

Grateful Dead - American Beauty
80

idk why I always thought a band named grateful dead would have grittier music but this album is really chill. great production and decent sisnging overall. some great hits on this thing too

Heart - Dreamboat Annie
92

great pop rock. amazing production and singing.

Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York
85

very good but i dont preffer it to any of their mainline albums

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
90

very consistent and interesting throughout. great vocals and production that still holds up

U2 - The Joshua Tree
75

A fairly decent album that unfortunately is mostly not for me. Well produced and sung all around but I could not get that into it.

ISSBROKIE - SWAGGOT!
69

[edit] on relisten i like a lot of these songs a lot more but still feel like most of the issues i had originally hold up.
There's like 0 song diversity across this whole thing. The beats are decent at best and most of the time brokie either sounds bored or just like she's half assing the song. This isn't even the best she's done in this kind of style, I loved the soundcloud mixtape she dropped earlier this year but this album is just so boring. Whatever

bbno$ - gigolo
80

so he CAN make music that isn't hip house

On ItsMiseryyy's review of Ghais Guevara - The Other 2/5ths or: The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Trench Baby
"Respect the opinion but I feel like it's a little weird to say whenever ghais does trap it doesn't work out considering his entire career has had major trap influence. Also I'm ngl I don't think I would call any of what hes rapped on before "jazz production" but that's definitely more up for debate."

"the album hasn't released on streaming yet so thats probably a factor in why people haven't been listening. Idk tho exo has been kinda lacking on the creative side for the most part aside from Kill Bills lp from last year and him and Rav's album from this year."
