Action Bronson in prime form. Jazzy, occasionally synth tinted beats with some off the wall, funny ass bars from Bronson. I think I've heard more bars about killing people with/putting them into food than I have in my entire life and nobody but Action Bronson could pull that off.
very fun track that doesn't overstay its welcome. good production, if simple, very effective.
Good beats and rapping from both parties. Not much else to say, just a solid album.
Black Milk consistent as usual with a good album! Not anything new from him but great production and rapping all around.
i kinda fw it i don't really understand the hate its a cool song imo. Not groundbreaking or anything but still a fun track
I like it but I think the self titled is better. Some cool ideas but with some slightly lackluster execution on some. Still a good listen tho.
A much more poppy album but still quite creative. A little dissapointed that the 8 minute song is basically an extended interlude but otherwise this is a fun addition. Not nearly as interesting lyrically and quite short for any album, but still a well done project regardless.
Album called experimental rap while sounding like his most conventional music ever is probably the most "experimental" thing he could have done I guess. Song is fine, kind of nothing.
Feels like a very tongue and cheek way for him to return to this kind of style to have an entire song about pleasing people and painting within the lines, but I think this is a well done track. Not like, amazing, but good, and frankly at this point thats all I want from a Rav song.
Kill Bill consistent as always coming out with a track that is good but not mind blowing or anything. Just a decent and well done song in his signiature lo-fi-ish style with some decent feature verses as well. Hope the rest of the album has a bit more experimentation but otherwise this song is a fun time.
a new johnnascus song and its just as weird and experimental as ever, but feels extra polished ESPECIALLY those vocals the singing is heavenly and the screaming feels much more deliberate which works out great. amazing song.
A really potent and poignant artistic statement about the current state of art, capitalism and society. Skeletrix' projects generally have been a bit too abstract for me but here that aspect of his music works great and feels very intentional and pointed. The way that topics like commercialism are tackled here is mesmerizing, and Edward himself sounds full of grief on many of these tracks, meandering in his vocal delivery frequently sounding so low energy but it really drives home the ... read more
An incredibly focused album with some very cool production and ideas. Great songwriting, especially on songs like hopeless romantic and stephen. Shteppi is very clearly locked in and works really well here to create a vibe that is utterly despairing at times, but also very heartfelt and beautiful.
Full of some really cool ideas but does get weighed down by some songs that just don't hold up so well. Love the super hazy vibe throughout tho, really works great and makes especially the songs where he is singing sound really really cool.
