Mystic Amphibian - Olam hafucking Tsfarde’im

Absolutely whimsical fun time even if not the best musically. Flawed but enjoyable. 🐸

I like all the moments with some more energy, track 3 and kyannbasu are great. The rest really exemplifies a problem I have with ambient projects recently and especially those by aoty users and thats that its just not interesting! I've heard this same electronic kind of drone a million times, and the fact that this album has better moments just makes the boring ones stick out more. Do more interesting and creative stuff! I'm sick and tired of hearing a synth tone for 9 minutes that ... read more

Gao doing what he does best with a dark, grimy ass rap song with some great production and vocals.

CABALLERO KNIGHT - RED PALESTINE
89

Amazingly produced with KNIGHT'S signature rapping style working great here. Very well done song

Not Marshall - VERY BAD ROMANCE
92

Holy fuck. Hits like a bomb and never lets up, great production and chopping. Probably my favorite Not Marshall song yet

Mihal Lunar - Rain Dance
65

Decent instrumental but doesn't really stand out that much to me. Eh

Shantel - 31
90

Shantel is so consistent its crazy. Great, energetic production with the beautiful vocals he's had for all his past singles. Great song

Cybershock - vertex null

Whatever man... to this albums credit it did sound exactly like how it felt for me to be in an airport struggling to stay awake at 3 am but aside from that its such a bore...the production is so samey and the progression of each song is barely there if at all. I'm sorry but I really just did not like this one...

Robin Callaway - i saw an angel in the mirror
90

Great production with some hard hitting drops and some ethereal but mostly burried vocals. Not much else to say, just a solid shoegaze project.

mangodxwns - FLOWER-BOY
85

First mangodxwns project i've seen where the album cover isn't just softcore porn so I decided to check it out and hey it was pretty good. The production is consistently great throughout, and his delivery is full of energy and very fun.

Ghais Guevara - Goyard & The Kayfabe Reveal
85

Its a shame this project released in the state it did because it has some of Ghais' best lyricism and best overall songs to date. Tracks like History of Violence or Battle of Ressentiment really show off that Ghais still has it, its just a shame that a song like The Kayfabe has the vocals mixed so quietly that they are barely audible, or how other songs on here like Jouissance, the Wealthy is so much louder than the rest, it makes for a very inconsistent listen, if only in the mastering of ... read more

Rico Ace - Blackjack

Banger after banger, but doesn't feel all that unique. Has some great songs, some decent songs, but overall a fun time.

Wesley Joseph - Forever Ends Someday
94

Great production and energy with some beautiful singing and very nice lyrics. Wish that it went in a more energetic direction similar to White Tee for more of the runtime but its solid as is.

Yuno Miles - Coming Home
90

man... a yuno miles album with all the types of songs he's been dropping recently... that'd lowkey go pretty crazy.... this song is great...

tsubi club - trinket
100

[edit] fuck it this is an 100. Just a great project all throughout, so consistently high energy and well made.
The long awaited tsubi club album has been released, with beautiful and stunning production and great, smooth ass vocals that pair together great. Has enough layers and instrumental details to make it completely worth it despite the skimpy runtime. Phenomenal.

Sembii - BLEED
67

Pretty decent if a little boring for me personally. The beats are good, but do get a little samey as the project goes on. Rapping is generally decent but never better than "good" imo but its never bad, just kind of okay most of the time. Overall though its a fun project that I unfortunately can't really see myself returning to.

mewing - YIN TO MATCH THE YANG
80

Great, consistently good writing and bars with great beat selection (not to toot my own horn, even though I DID produce JUXTAPOSE....) Overall really well made project.

Edward Botech - WHAAAT??? MIAMI???
89

A satisfying and well produced DnB track with some very nice synthwork. Pretty cool!

Thundercat - Distracted
90

Some very creative ideas here and while it does have a bit of a middling.... middle... I think it picks up again in the last 3 or 4 songs. Features all do great for the most part, and the production is consistently great even if it does get a bit redundant (again towards the middle). Great album.

MIKE - POMPEII // UTILITY
90

I think the beats do get a little samey at some points (not horribly, but noticeable) but Earl and MIKE's rapping is top knotch. While I did prefer Earl's part overall, there were some great songs during MIKE's part too. Great project

"Respect the opinion but I feel like it's a little weird to say whenever ghais does trap it doesn't work out considering his entire career has had major trap influence. Also I'm ngl I don't think I would call any of what hes rapped on before "jazz production" but that's definitely more up for debate."
