For me, this new 8th album of EXO is just a throwback of the group's old sounds. The songs starts with a hip-hop style while the other half serves as the calm down of the group's sound. Generic as usual. I have actually nothing to say about the album.
Considering how old and out of era EXO is in today's generation of K-pop music. "I'm home" is a lovely tune of the group reminiscing the prominence of the band's former glory. It is bittersweet as it is ... read more
I just saw this on a whim, I've been listening to his songs since the pandemic times. He specializes in love songs and comfort music. I really like how he sounds like a kid and how angsty his voice is when singing.
His new album is pretty much nothing new than what he made up before, the cliché storytelling, the chiptune voices occasionally and how sometimes catchy he produces his instrumentals. The sound is not really risky, but what can you say when it comes to a popular bedroom ... read more
Madison Beer's new album the locket represents a fragile girl being the yearner for a relationship, speaking about love, hatred, toxicity, yearning, and how "desperate" one wants to be in that specific relationship. Like never letting go of an ex, and never forgetting about anything that you've done both together, or how "you are never the same" without that love.
She also goes on on how human love is so complex that it has so many mixed signals, making the ... read more
The third LP from the jarring midwest emo band Home Is Where, titled Hunting Season, delivers a mix of melodic, riff-driven guitar work and Bea’s raw unconcerned vocals and simplistic drumming that holds the band. The album blends folk, rock, and even hints of country, all while maintaining the distinct sound the band is known for. Personally, I found it refreshing that Hunting Season feels noticeably calmer (except roll tide) compared to their last two releases, which is a breath of ... read more
Made me cry. Like a lot! This music, although simple, it strucks me through its lyrics and gentle melody. A longing for a life of simple wishes. What I love is about how the lyrics tells a simple story of a man, life filled with gratitude towards his father and his journey. I really love this
2nd 10/10 of my life.
This one is the most devastating album that I've ever heard and... I can't believe how emotional it was and how it evokes me into the feeling that it portrays into the music. It's my fault when I tried listening to this while talking a walk, it's hard to not take a tear out for this kind of music. The voice, the production, everything. It's more than being amazing.
The tracks on the album are the most dense and fully layered sounding pieces of ... read more
A calming nostalgic start of AKFG. Not really a technical album, but one that could touch the hearts of some.
It's been a long time that I have goosebumps listening to music, and this was one of the times that it caught me. Everything in this song is amazing and hallucinating. It lures me in to it's crazy world. AMAZING!
The sequel to the last semantics. I felt that this album represents what it feels after death, and goreshit's idea of what it is. The album is such a surreal experience to listen to, and very reflective of it's nature. Overall, it bops
This album is really not for me, It feels so awkward for me to listen, I can't enjoy it as much...
57-77
Nevermind, it grows on me
One of the most well produced metal albums, I feel like his voice is literally on my throat
A melodramtic album from Taylor Swift, a simple introspective album that is for me somehow cryptive in its lyrics and calming in its harmony and melodies. Overall, I had an chill time listening to the whole album, sometimes relating to the lyrics that see writes and how to way she presents her story throughout the album giving herself into it.
Favorite Track: Exile ft. Bon Iver
This album had me ascending!
From the calm and nature feeling from the start to a very climactic end.
This is really a quick short 10 minutes of great midwest emo.
The vibe and the atmosphere, witty lyrics, and the teenage like voice makes this EP feel like a melancholic feeling of highschool life. My only problem is that, this EP is really short leaving me depicting that this is how I feel of how short highschool life really.
Great EP!
