this album sounds like a circus orchestra that was possessed by angry demons decided to play while you were beaten up brutally by a muscled guy, and he suddenly also stopped hitting you to make you feel the numbness and confusion.
yet, so many great ideas in this album aren’t developed, making it feel like a bit of a mess.
awesome avant-garde jazz that starts with hypnotic melodies and slowly descends into madness, taking it with you.
Madness is a particular aspect of the record. Especially the sections where the vocalist is just absolutely going insane with her vocal range, which is surprisingly very well done.
