Maxo - After Hours
80

Really interesting production accompanied with intimate lyricism, the vibes are what sell me on the EP though.

Lil Baby - Freestyle
87

By FAR his best song

2Pac - Changes
100

2Pac's best song, beautiful lyrics and production.

Kenny Mason - BULLDAWG
86

With BULLDAWG, Kenny Mason delivers one of the year's most entertaining and diverse albums. It showcases many high-energy bangers such as BULLKILLER, BOUNCE WIT ME ,JUNKYARD FREESTYLE and BLACK FIT that contain rock and metal-infused production, but still having trap drums as the groundwork. On these songs, Kenny manages to never get buried under the quite loud and abrasive beats utilizing excessive shouting and crazy flows aswell as a rough mix on his vocals which works very well. ... read more

Roc Marciano - Marcberg
85

Really influential for the drumless scene with some of the best bars in the genre.

Conway the Machine - From King to a GOD
88

Conway's best project, showcasing his lyrical abilities on more high-quality production and with great features. The deluxe to this album is also great.

Vince Staples - Cry Baby
86

This is one of the most important albums of the year, Vince definitely has a lot to say. The writing is definitely the strongest part of the album, but the production is also very fitting and cohesive.

DJ Premier - Headlines

Best griselda song with crowns for kings

Denzel Curry - TA13OO
83

Some people like to overrate this album a lot, which is something im saying as a massive fan of denzel curry. While this album does have amazing highlights, there‘s a good amount of songs i never listen to. Denzel‘s heavier music has never clicked for me all that much, except for VENGEANCE, the best song on this album. There‘s traces of the phenomenal writing of MMESYF, it just doesn‘t compare though. I also believe that this album holds some of Denzel‘s weakest ... read more

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
100

one of THE absolute BEST songs EVER FUCKING MADE. The vocals are amazingly hypnotising and are in my opinion the best on any Pink Floyd song. The floaty production genuinely makes me ascend every time i hear it and dont even get me started on the hook. Also the best one Pink Floyd have ever created. The first guitar solo is already perfect and one of the best ever, but the second one might genuinely be the best one of all time. The way it breaks up the mostly soft sounding song at its climax ... read more

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
79

always been a little overrated, like this is NOT a 10 just cuz fantano said so. I dont go back to Fire, Freee & Kids See Ghosts and the only songs i really LISTEN to are Reborn and 4th dimension. The writing one here is good, nothing crazy tho. The production carries most of this album, but also isnt even close to Kanye‘s best work.

Lorde - Melodrama
70

I recently listened to this because of how much i love perfect places, but this left me pretty dissapointed. I think Perfect Places is one of the best Pop songs of the 2010s, because of its grandiose hook and intimate lyricism, but in my opinion the rest of the album only delivers on the lyricism. The hooks are incredibly minimal and hard to distinguish from the verses, pair that with the pretty one-note production all over this album, and im nearly put to sleep. Lorde‘s voice also ... read more

Kim Petras - Detour
86

She definitely came a long way from being featured on Unholy.

Kim Petras is fully embracing the slutty and cunty attitude in the lyrics on this album, which works really well with her voice and usage of vocal effects. The production is just some great Electroclash chaos, with some of the best produced songs being Detour, I like Ur Look, Need For Speed and Freak It. Those are also pretty much the best songs on this album, as the crazy synths and wild drums are quite easily the best part of the ... read more

21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning
79

amazing highlights with ghostface killers, rap saved me ric flair drip but the rest is a bit lacking in originality. The hooks from 21 here are not very good, even if he did step up his verses from the snoozefest that was savage mode 1. offset honestly carries this project, with metro producing some of his most eerie and atmospheric beats yet.

John Michel - Egotrip
89

Still amazing, easily one of the best produced albums of the decade with great features and lyricism aswell as good flows.

Rome Streetz - Cocaine Coltraine
100

This shit is NASTY, Rome delivers amazing bars with a tight flow over a great beat from denny laflare.
Honestly one of the best songs of the year

Drake - HABIBTI
NR

instagram story music for 14yo girls

Freddie Gibbs - $oul $old $eparately

Mostly good to great, couldve used more standout beats and performances

Freddie Gibbs - RBT
