This album musically is not bad and at some points very good, but the content matter is horrendous to say the least. The mixing was not that great on a lot of these songs, but it had redeeming factors in songs like "BURN", "STARS", "BACK TO ME", and more. I found myself enjoying the production on a lot of these songs.

Great album from J.Cole. I was impressed by a lot of tracks on here and I hope it was longer.

This album is in the midst of Drake's golden age, and I wasn't really disappointed. Tuscan Leather is an iconic intro and is definitely a highlight of this album. Kendrick Lamar raps about how messed up it was growing up in Compton. An iconic album for a reason. In my ratings and reviews I tend to rate based on a combination of quality and personal preference (usually skewed to personal preference). This album is a work of art there is no denying that, and I thoroughly enjoy it, but for me personally I dont think its one of the best ever (yet).
