Ok, this is nowhere near as bad as people are saying. It's not great and 3 or 4 songs I really can't bare, but lots on here is cool.
Ok, this is actually incredible. I wasn't entirely convinced after the first song, but wow is the rest of this album utterly perfect.
Revisiting this, I do reckon it is the best First Of October album, close to the first, and close to the most recent (2024), but I think it's the best.
I am a huge, huge fan of Across The Road and Pretty Raw is still somehow my favourite song ever, but this album might… er… be a lil bit better.
Love 'Doomsday Blue' and hope it does well in ESC 2024. Rest of the album is kinda average but I also like 'Last Summer' and especially 'Bye Boy'.
This album is really great but I'm giving it a higher score than it actually is to bump up the rating. I don't know how someone has rated it 0. Bizarre.

The screeches at the beginning might have made me the most horrified I've felt during a song. In the best way possible. This band knows how to do thall that's for sure. The immense relentlessness of this song is insane and the harpsichord-sounding part and acoustic guitar thrown in just somehow work perfectly. Some absolute bangers on here but just not as consistent as last year. I do hope either iolando, nena or rita rocha win.
A truly perfect album that balances relentlessness and beauty in the most satisfying way. As a lover of shoegaze and extreme metal, this album seems like a once-in-a-lifetime creation and experience. A record that no-one should miss out on.
