A particularly slow album, even for swans, but the emotional depth in this one really pulls it together

One of the most iconic metal albums of all time, Paranoid has an incredible first half, with war pigs, paranoid and iron man all being perfect tracks. Although the second half is not as flawless, it is still excellent, and this album stands as a symbol of the heavy metal era

An interesting album, this was Marr’s attempt at moving forward the Smiths sound despite Morrissey’s resistance. Dosnt quite play out in all songs, but what it does work in, is really quite good
