solid album from black midi. i definitely enjoyed their discography and their sound a lot. i really enjoyd their drum sounds and the chops that were albums this album and their other album "Schlagenheim" as well. the songs were really great with the final near 10-minute song "Ascending Forth" being another highlight for me on this album. overall, nothing else really to say on black midi except they are a great band to listen too.

another solid album from Elvis Costello and his band The Attractions. super fun rhythm with great bass lines and great lyrics from Elvis on this one. overall an enjoyable listen as always with Elvis Costello.
Best Song: Early Summer
amazing jazz album. I loved the vibes from this album. The beautiful 10-minute song that is "Early Summer" was a great listen. I loved the drum break in that song as well. i have recently been getting really Japanese Jazz music and it has been such a delight to listen too. another great Japanese Jazz album added to my library

a surprising return from Blink-182. i honestly didn’t expect this album to be as good as it was. with a lot of catchy tunes on it, and astounding drum parts from Travis Barker. the lead single from this album, “ONE MORE TIME” is a really nice sounding acoustic song that grew on me over time. “FELL IN LOVE” is another catchy song that keeps bringing me back to the album. overall, a surprisingly good release from

another solid Earl project, with Alchemist on production. whenever Earl and The Alchemist get together, you know it's going to be a fun time. i loved Earl's rapping on this album. thought it was super fun and really enjoyed listening to it. i loved The Alchemist's beats on this album as well, and the vocal sampling was on point! overall, another great project from 2023 with amazing rapping from Earl Sweatshirt and great production from The Alchemist

The Police do not tend to miss with their albums. the bass work from Sting on this album is incredible. also the drums from Stewart Copeland on songs such as "Synchronicity II" and "O My God" is great as well. i also really liked the vocal work on this album and thought it was really good to listen to.

super interesting jazz (if it is even classified as that). so many different genres fused into this album. the instrumentation on this album amazing as well. the song "Astral Flying" literally makes me feel like I'm floating when listening to it. the drums on "Super Zodiac" are absolutely amazing in my opinion. overall a great jazz fusion/nu jazz album
