I never thought I'd say an album is too short and could be fleshed out more whilst also saying it's perfect and lands around my top 5 albums OAT. 'EXPERIMENTAL RAP' has some of the best production on any JPEGMAFIA album and his hooks hit more times than not. Unfortunately the content, song-structures and overall cohesion of the album severely lack follow through and leave it feeling a bit thrown together and lower effort than his previous releases.
We as people and consumers of art and media tend to be greatly averse to those who aren't so humble in their fame and fortune and arguably rightly so. I also struggle to understand such ego-driven perspectives at times but that doesn't really take away from my enjoyment of the music all that much.
