A$AP Rocky's had spent a long time absent from the hip-hop scene prior to the release of this LP, and though this album does not convince listeners that he spent that entire 7.5 year long periods perfecting his craft, we all knew he hadn't, and so the album is a very strong return to form for Rocky, and hopefully the start of a new, innovative run for the rapper.
