At least Shawn Mendes is now a lot more listenable than he used to be. Holy cow his music used to be terrible and it made me lowkey hate the radio for a bit.

Glad he seems happier, but I simply do not care enough to give this another listen... 30 minutes of, white guy with acoustic guitar, the kind of artist that Shawn Mendes was destined to become.

This is all of the things I liked about Yves's first solo EP and AMPED IT THE FUCK UP!

All of the songs feel well fleshed out, and this album does not waste a single beat. Not writing much because I am prepared for the grind tomorrow... Boy will my fingers be tired.

Let me tell you why this doesn’t work.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original Geidi Primes which is around a 5/10 for me, it is a very flawed album that does not do a whole lot beyond the surface and never gives you too much of a reason to stick around. The elements that I did like from the album were the raw instruments and distortion and the nice layered vocals on songs like ‘Zoal, Face Dancer’ and ‘Feyd Rautha Dark Heart’.

I was mixed one their previous album ‘Pink Tape’ but I did enjoy some elements from it.

This album however has very distracting flaws. One of the issues is Uzi’s flow and vocals… Jeeezus… added with his dips into rage rap being very rough.

I am a pretty big fan of aespa, And I know that they could do better than this.

This album mostly feels like scraps left over from 'Drama' and 'Armageddon' and in general the album does not really have a set direction in my opinion. And even If I love them going back to their experimental roots, this is still weaker than 'Savage' on many fronts.
