I'm doing a Melanie Martinez deep dive that will commence when the Spam block goes down and also because I feel like I have to, Melanie is definitively the most polarising artist of this current era of music, she is both Over Idolised and Over Hated, Treated like an Angel and like the Devil Itself, She is somehow both the best and worst person on this planet right now and I am exhausted by it.
Edit after reading others opinions: I will be honest, I kinda dropped the ball during this ... read more
Giving this the same score as my Vultures review because it’s a rite of passage. Also because it’s just as bland and boring
Noticed I have been a bit too positive with albums I choose to review lately so let’s change that up a bit.
Is this album bad: Not too bad to be honest, they are at least songs
Is it boring: Oh yes
When I give an album a score above 90 I spilt it into groups:
90-92 Music that is amazing and can still be respected by those that are unsure about it
93-95 Music that is objectively brilliant
96-98 Music that the world straight up does not deserve to listen to for free
99-100 Music that ascends you to heaven.
That is where I go every minute I listen to this album, HEAVEN
I just genuinely love this entire project, with some very minor issues that are just nitpicking, I’m really excited for her next project knowing that she is getting closer and closer to making a masterpiece, and this album proves that she may get there someday.
I’m sorry, you don’t even have to have nostalgia to know that THIS SOUNDTRACK IS AMAZING. From beginning to end this album is banger after banger, and the fact that people leave it out of discussions about OST’s is a war crime. Yuzo absolutely killed it.
This is the first album ever that I listened to in full after I downloaded Spotify, and I'm pretty happy this was my first.
After listening to more albums, obviously I know this album isn't one of the GREATEST things ever released, but this is the album that lead me to respect songwriting and emotions in music, before this album really didn't listen to music at all, now it's like one of my favourite topics ever.

This is THE Britney Spears album.
Every song on this is sonically so diverse and surprisingly cohesive at the same time. Every track makes their length worthwhile and their only crime is making me want to dance. Critics obviously dissmissed this album when it came out, but it has proven to be one of the most cohesive, satisfying and sometimes even unpredictable pop albums ever made.
This album is definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be or joked about it being but also... was it worth the wait...
I don't really wanna make excuses for this album, but I do feel for Normani and her family and I hope her parents are ok, also her label RCA wasn’t helping much either, being well known at this point that it is a shitty label, and holding her back.
The album is actually ok though, there are some tracks that are at least interesting, like more than most ... read more
A shorter review on this one
It's a shame that, this album only got attention because of the track 'End of Beginning' which is a great song but the WHOLE ALBUM is also amazing.
Djo is slowly but surely making a lane for himself in music, and I hope more people get to listen to this album in full and I cannot wait to see what he does next.
Well... in my opinion It is better than her debut.
If I could give this album a big compliment, I love this album art because this album really does sound like a art museum to me, and not in a bad way, every song is like an individual artwork that tells a different story and I actually really love that as a concept choice, I'm not sure if it was intentional but It actually made me enjoy this album a little bit more. BUT... this is basically HIT ME HARD AND SOFT but with weaker song writing ... read more
I wish I could like this album more...
Ok let's get the discussion started.
'Serotonin' could have been so much better even if I do like the idea of the song, the execution is off for me, but I do respect it for trying while the track also resonates with a lot of people. 'Body and Mind' is an ok song imo 'hornylovesickmess' indeed is a mess, but I do like the instrumental a tiny bit, also I like how it interludes into 'midnight love' which is another ok song on the album along with 'You ... read more
EDIT: I still love this album, decided to revisit this now that the remix album is coming out. Jeez I was kinda aggressive back then, there was no reason to mention Tortured Poets but yeah that’s what I did and I am keeping the original up anyway because yeah… Anti-Taylor was at an all time high, but at least recently I am not as bitter, especially in regards to Taylor because I realised like seriously, fight the real enemies.
The actual small points that I made about the album ... read more
It's kinda insane how this album reshaped music going into the 2000's while still feeling fresh listening to it today. from the robotic production, good writing, amazing vocals and all around Brilliant songs that run through the entirety of the project.
'No Scrubs' Is one of the best hit songs to come out in the late 90's, although I do wish it was the version with Left-Eye. (Left-Eye Lopez having very few verses on this album becomes a small issue for me but I will address it later). ... read more
This is my first Kid Cudi album listen and let me just say, BIG FAN this project. It's not a classic HELL NO, but still has an interesting narrative and intriguing production, with this album becoming a big pioneer for Psychedelic Rap.
When it comes to performances, Cudi's flow is pretty underrated imo and he has surprisingly fun and clever bars for almost the full length of this LP. 'Simple As...'is definitely the weakest track on this album although I don't entirely ... read more

Say what you want about Welcome To The Madhouse, at least Tones had a vision... not a very well executed vision at all but at least it's SOMETHING because this album has ABSOLUTELY N-O-T-H-I-N-G going for it.
In my home country we actually liked the BEP quite a bit, I enjoy all of their singles (Yes including that track about milk and cocoa puffs). The BEP are a big part of my childhood, BUT this album... Is the most creatively bankrupt bullcrap I have ... read more
