Last Post-LOONA project review for now!
Knowing that this is the Idol that sings, one of LOONA’s most famous songs: ‘Heart Attack’ I was pretty pumped for this.
It’s ok, but when it comes to EP’s if you have dud songs it really drags down the experience sadly.
Tbh when I first looked at the album cover I thought it was NCT DREAM making a sequel to ‘Hello World’ all of the sudden.
Other than that the second half kinda carries this album unfortunately.
In my LOONA phase so I’m getting a few reviews out
To be honest, when I heard the first track I was kinda worried that I wouldn’t enjoy this project as much as others did, but obviously that did not happen, I love the shit out of the sound of this album.
ARTMS successfully create an album influenced by spacey R&B sounds to create a sonically beautiful experience. Every song on the project offers something different, and their performance on this album is great!
(Just realised that I have been doing a lot of shorter reviews lately, sorry it’s just I’m still recovering from June 28th and having to write all of those reviews, I’ll get my groove back soon!)
I can’t believe this is a real album…
Banger after banger, this album feels so blissful while also being so fun to dance to it’s ridiculous. People don’t appreciate this enough!
Not gonna lie, when I dived into this, I had no idea what to expect, but LOONA really surprised me, something about them and this album is so unique to me, I love it.
Stan LOONA guys
Ahhhhh… my first ever bias, Kesha released a single.
Because this is her first single free from her label, this was pretty interesting to hear although I still wonder about what kind of music she wants to make. This song feels like it shouldn’t work, but it just does, It makes me want to have kids because she is mother.
Ok because Kesha was my first bias I’m gonna start talking in Stan twitter:

This album could have been fireworks, but it feels like they flinched and backed out. The opening track was very promising but then it kinda goes downhill from there
Just finished my listen of the album, the edit is below the original.
Original:
PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN HEAR THIS. Looks like we have another competitor for worst album of the year on our hands apparently. And a way to listen to it without my phone imploding from viruses that would be nice as well, feels like foreshadowing…
Edit after listening: (Thanks to @TheAutisticGuy)
Turns out it was foreshadowing after all, to the point that for a second I thought I actually did get ... read more
Caroline Polachek is regarded as one of the most promising active artists for a reason. Caroline's voice is absolutely spotless and the production on this album is so breezy and beautiful it's kinda crazy.
Caroline does an excellent job at creating an atmosphere around you with this album from the moment it starts, definitely some of the best pop music I have heard this decade so far.
underscores has the potential to create a true fucking classic someday.
I don't even know what genre to call this, this whole album is wild as fuck while everything flows into each other so nicely, It's like my music equivalent to when I'm watching Bob Ross painting, it looks messy at first then it actually becomes art and it's so fire it's ridiculous.
This album just feels so fresh, the hype is very real.
This is everything I liked about the 6arelyhuman album, thrown out the window, with some small moments that could have worked better but just don’t.
Man I wonder what this sounds like to people who hated Slut Pop: Miami, imagine that album but with annoying ass vocals and heavy metal music.
The length kinda kills this album, kind of a shame because I really enjoy a lot of the stuff on the first half, I kinda wish it was just the first 12-14 tracks, then add the rest in a deluxe or something because, if it was just those tracks, it would have been THE scenecore album.
The production on this album is great, and 6arelyhuman does a good job at the scene music, and as the album title suggests, it is indeed sassy.
this is another great album for a seamstress on her day off
My go to placebo for Katy Perry. And to be honest it worked for me. This album really feels like if ‘Teenage Dream’ was made in 2020, and not even in a bad way.
Teenage Dream, came out in 2010, which was not as innocent of a year as we remembered tbh, we saw Katy being one of the guys, making gay jokes, wearing low cut outfits, shooting projectiles from her bra (twice), chilling for the army.
Heaven and Hell, came out in 2020, which was one of the worst years of our lives if not ... read more
Starting Small, Dreaming Big: Episode 1
This is the first of a series I’m gonna start where I look at very small artists that I think have a lot of potential, and I’m gonna give them some support and advice for future endeavours.
for the first entry of the series we are going to look at the debut EP by Independent Tongan/Aboriginal Australian vocalist and rapper, Zion Garcia:
‘ZION GARCIA: (THEATRICAL VERSION)’.
I’m gonna start on the positives. Zion’s ... read more
