Lil pump 2 album review:

Tesla is a decent start to the album. Sadly, this is the best it will get.

In pull up, lil pump uses some basic repeating lyrics about how he takes drugs and drives around in supercars, it’s nothing special but it’s not particularly offensive either. First of all, I LOVE how hard this album goes, it starts out with your avarage glitch hop/hyper pop style music, and then BOOM, FROG ON THE FLOOR! Frog on the floor genuinely made me smile, like come on, it’s literally a song about them finding a frog and keeping him in the kitchen and him eating flies, what more could you ask to be honest. First things first, this album feels like it was made as background music. While I was listening to the album, I almost forgot I was listening to it at some points. The verses don’t feel like they’re doing anything special most of the time either.

I feel as though miley still lacks a direction she wants to go with her voice, but I feel as if she didn’t venture out at all on this album and mostly played it safe, which does kind of take away what from it could of been

I think it’s alright. I think the production is decent and the singing is okay I guess, it does feel kind of drawn out as all of the songs are about the same exact topic, I do think the tone change in the song happy adds to the album as the tone change pulled me back into the EP. That’s probably the highlight of the EP. It’s fun, I wouldn’t go back to it, 6/10.
