i thought this was easily tame's weakest album (until a certain deadbeat) which makes sense, just an average rocky album

some very high highs and some very low lows, one of the more memorable albums i listened to in 2024 - same with most of tyler's discography. the lyricism can be corny and a lil weird at most times and some beats seem out of place or unfinished but still some light of tylers true talent

the meaning of this album makes much more of a mark with me than tpab, hence it being my 3rd fav kendrick album above tpab. a lot of the songs make me cry just because of the clear emotion in kendricks voice, you can tell he really went through all this - its amazing.

the youtube mini documentary on this album geuinely makes this album 10x better i wouldnt have understood what this album means without it and now its had the biggest impression on me i NEEEEEEEED this on vinyl so so bad

okay i dont wanna sound like a r*cist cuz im absolutely not but i fear this album is slightly rated more bc its about r*cism yet some of the production on these songs arent interesting enough to warrant a possibly perfect album imo its not even top 3 kendrick yet still amazing in some cases so yeaaaaaa
