This was my first MUSE album, and it didn't disappoint. This is another album with consistent bangers. Stockholm Syndrome is potentially my favorite MUSE song, Butterflies and Hurricanes is unique and super interesting, Hysteria is iconic with a killer bass line, and Time is Running Out is popular for a reason. This album is an easy listen, and I highly recommend this to any rock fans.
Godamn this album is amazing. This album doesn't have any duds at all. Every song on this album is a standout, but Feeling Good is definitely the weakest. Songs such as Space Dementia, Citizen Erased, and Bliss are very heavy hitters. This album is also masterfully produced, though it does sound slightly compressed (which the remaster fixes). I HIGHLY recommend this album.
This is probably my hottest music take, but this is one of my favorite albums ever. This album tries so many different things, and at least to me, it does a lot of it extremely well. I also love Chris' ballads, and besides Panic Station, are my favorites of the album.
It's hard to believe that a lot of fans of the Beatles didn't get to hear this beautifully produced song. I wasn't expecting much on first listen, but wow... The once love song-esque lyrics now sound like a celebratory goodbye, and it is emotional, even to me, a 20-year-old (soon to be 21). One of, if not the most influential rock band in history still delivered over 50 years later.
This is quite the experience. This album goes all over the place and does most of it right. It's a pretty fun listen.
This soundtrack fits the movie like a glove and is somehow an amazing listen on its own, which deserves major props.
This album is a masterpiece... That is... if you ignore this entire album and listen to something worth your time. At least there are 2 laughably bad songs with Never Enough and Don't Tell Me How To Live. I think the album name is thematic because this album certainly has a bad reputation because it fucking sucks.
This is the first album to ever piss me off, and I hadn't even heard the original The Wall before hearing this. This album almost makes the original worse due to its existence.
This was the second Pink Floyd I listened to, and it did not disappoint. This album is NOT for everyone. This, just like Dark Side, is an experience. This album is full of emotion. This album is full of dread, and it can be a hard listen. It's one of the most powerful albums I've listened to.
Edit: I just watched the movie, and then the album again, and wow... This album was already one of my favs, but now it's secons only to Wish You Were Here, which I consider the perfect album. Godamn...
This isn't just music. This is a full-on experience. This is a must listen. The first time I heard this album, it felt like I was transported to a different dimension. Do yourself a favor: wear a pair of headphones, sit back, close your eyes, and just play this album. One of the best experiences in music ever. I can't put into words how I felt on my first listen.
Holy hell, what an experience. This project oozes emotion and sounds as it is: a call for help. I rarely cry when listening to music, but this project did it. Rest in peace, Kai, you made an amazing project. One of my favorite albums ever.
This album has one of the biggest and worst identity crises I've ever heard. The music is decent, but these lyrics sound super insincere and often cringe coming from someone like Durst, leading to a very awkward listen.
