This album is more than a masterpiece to me, and it always will be. It's pretty surreal to listen to this album after listening the songs from it my whole life. Hearing Billie Jean in the middle of an album is like seeing your teacher at a store.
Also, hot take, Thriller (the song) is overrated
So glad he's leaning more into Rap Metal, by far my favorite sound he's had.

Whatever bro. I'd already lost hope for another prime Kanye album, so it didn't surprise me at all when Bully ended up just being pretty alright. It has its moments, but the entire album has this tinny, unfinished sound to it despite the numerous delays of the release date. I can't explain it very well but the songs lacking energy and the unpolished sound make it feel like a faded memory of a Kanye album, like something The Caretaker would make.
