The Dante's Inferno of music. This is more painful than a breakup. I'd rather walk 1000 miles with lizzo on my shoulders.
I enjoyed it as a quadeca fan, especially the first half, but I doubt someone getting into quad would vibe with it. The songs weren't finished for a reason, as we already have better released versions, or its of a era gone by.
The clean vocals drown out the instrumental on pretty much every songs, and this album often sounds pretty derivative.
Never said goodbye sounds like a deathless song but if it was complete
However this album does have some solid riffs, stand out tracks like manic and death roll, and the production can be pretty solid depending on the track.
This album is nothing to write home about, but i didn’t hate listening to this
This sounds like every instrument is slowly infiltrating my body and taking over my soul. The way this is produced and mixed is masterful.
The short run time helps as well, as it definitely doesn’t over stay it’s welcome. It’s just a hard hitting experience that is enjoyable all the way through.
This is band that will be carrying metal into the future
The fact this is rated so highly by a majority English speaking pool speaks for itself.
This record is tight and catchy. Every song moves through you, and even though I don’t understand a single lyric, the performance is so emotional I feel every moment.
I love this a lot
Rating as an entire package
The estate sales adds that little bit of extra swagger that the og album needed
Sorry not sorry is one of the best closers of all time and my favourite Tyler song period.
There’s still some flaws in the tracklist, but for the estate sale exclusive ones I’m not the biggest fan of heaven to you. even though the sample during the chorus is great, tyler performs the song with low energy and the beat is just not that enraging for me.
Overall the estate ... read more
What can i say that hasn’t been said about this album? It’s fantastic
I hope he at least tried Tyler’s waffles
This album is movie trailer music without the oof.
The melodies are boring and the verse are too wordy.
Some songs have their moments but their isn’t a song really worth much all together.
Production is very weak and has no variability. The build up to so long London is laughable and a great example of this. There’s no point talking about an individual song because they all suffer from the same problems.
I’m not really offended by the lyrics but they’re definitely ... read more
To call TPAB sleepy and release this is laughable.
Only given it one listen but instrumentally pretty boring, features mostly boring, a couple cringey bars and the trans bar on pi just made me roll my eyes. Like who cares about J Coles opinion on trans people. Not like he said anything new in anti-trans rhetoric
best songs are probs crocodile tears, ready 24, and 7 minute drill. Crocodile tears actually goes hard, and I like how aggressive he is on this track.
ready 24 just has a solid ... read more
All killer no filler
The transitions of this project are great, features on point, great verses and choruses from Tyler, and amazing production from front to back. Used to bump this when it dropped for a month but only got about 600 minutes out of it.
Definitely glad I revisited this and gonna be listening to the estate sales with the og from front to back
Overall in love, besides Wilshire having half the song in one ear, can’t really fault most songs, a couple get outshined tho so ... read more
Idk what to rate this
Overall I enjoyed this project but it’s extremely bloated.
Some great cuts like goblin, Yonkers, tron cat and golden. The concept it interesting and definitely saved the project from its grating moments.
I think the production is over hated but it’s definitely not dynamic enough for it’s run time. Her is a great example, i liked the story telling (didn’t love it tho) but the song is just boring on the production end
Glad I listend but ... read more
Good soup, nothing ground breaking but the most tasteful he's been lyrically and the production and instrumentals are mostly enjoyable. Wish he continued to make this style of music and expanded lyrically; what could have been. Instead we got emo girl.
Hollywood whore is a great tribute to Chester and I get emotional every time, if you listen to anything off this listen to that track
Not really a lot here.
Most of the hooks are boring, and taylors drama isn't that interesting to listen to. Instrumentally most songs don't draw me in, just standard pop of the time.
I'm not really offended by most songs here, but this why we can't have nice things was horrible and egoistical.
Dancing with with our hands time is a highlight, actually a great song. Delicate and ready for it i enjoyed as well, but i wouldn't revisit
The album is just a whole bunch of nothing, but I was ... read more
This Album will take you to a place your life never will. Production is incredible, the concept well executed, and the sound is so unique. Every song serves a purpose, and you will be taken to a world beyond our own. Every song sounds very unique, but the album still uses enough of the same elements in every song to be cohesive.
I will say some songs might take a while to click, since it can be hard to appreciate everything all at once, but after a few listens every knot in the track list ... read more
Post human survival horror but better in every way, with its own unique twist.
Absolutely in love with this new ep, I’ve listened to it about 8 times in a row and I don’t see myself stopping anyway time soon.
This album brings an intensity that’s unmatched by anything I’ve listened to since methwitch’s indwell. Songs such as atrophy Angel, with its great drums and snare, and tripping>wires, with it’s amazing break core movements, are part of how this ... read more
