Ayesha Erotica - precum

I really like this sound for her!! Different but it totally works. I enjoy the production a lot here, and overall this was a super fun listen. I’d say my favs are probably WHORE IDOL, BITCH, and GIDDY UP

Radiohead - OK Computer
100

What’s even left to say about OK Computer? It completely deserves all the hype it gets, which for an album this revered is really the highest praise I can give it. Like it really is THAT good

Radiohead - The King of Limbs
77

With a discography as strong as Radiohead’s, anything that isn’t quite up to par with their most masterful works is bound to be overlooked and unappreciated. This is unfortunate, because the King of Limbs is a great album. It’s hypnotic and so, so pretty. Lotus Flower is one of my favorite songs, and it’s the one that got me into Radiohead in the first place. Definitely not perfect, and not as strong as a lot of their other albums, but it’s nonetheless a gem ... read more

Korn - Issues
76

Personally, this is much more my speed than their first album. I will admit there were a few songs that kinda dragged for me, but when this hits, it REALLY hits. Some standouts: Falling Away From Me, Trash, Make Me Bad, Somebody Someone

April March - Chick Habit + Bonus Tracks
60

Favs: Laisse Tomber Les Filles, Tu Mens

PinkPantheress - Fancy That
83

Fancy That is short and sweet, and all around just a good time. My favorite tracks are Tonight and Stateside

Gorillaz - Demon Days
92

It’s a crime that it’s taken me this long to listen to this in full, because Demon Days is truly something special. There are obviously some incredible tracks here, but this groundbreaking album is undoubtedly more than the sum of its parts.
Going in, I knew how revered this album was and already loved some of these songs, yet I was in complete awe of just how good this was.
Some personal favorites: Feel Good Inc. (duh), DARE, El Mañana
A must listen for everyone

SOPHIE - OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES
91

RIP Sophie Xeon.
This album is an incredible experience. It’s so addicting—I’ve been listening to tracks like Ponyboy, Faceshopping, etc. all the time lately. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to listen to this album in full, and I can already tell it’s the type of thing I’ll keep coming back to.

Evanescence - Fallen
79

AWESOME. Amy Lee’s iconic, powerful voice brings some of these tracks to another level. I like the instrumentals a lot here too, the violin in My Immortal especially. Little samey but overall an enjoyable experience

Lorde - Virgin
74

I really like how personal this album feels—you can tell while listening how much of herself she put into this. This didn't blow me away, but it's definitely a solid album overall with a few incredibly strong tracks that make it well worth your while.

Lorde - Pure Heroine
84

So quintessentially teenage girl. Ribs and 400 Lux are all timers.

Panic! at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor
63

Pretty decent, if somewhat corny, pop rock album. It's catchy and admittedly quite nostalgic for me. Pales in comparison to their first three albums, but hey, at least it isn't Viva Las Vengeance.

Cibo Matto - Stereo ★ Type A
80

Another great one from Cibo Matto! Quite different from their first, but it was still very enjoyable. Very pleasant and fun, a lot more polished. It was innovative and experimental, though less so than Viva! La Woman. There were points where it was so pleasant it bordered on monotony, but they knew right when to mix it up, so it never became stale.

Korn - Korn
53

A little unsure about this one! Started strong but I have to admit it kinda lost me for a while in the middle. The last few songs kinda drew me back in, getting more compelling and ending on such a disturbing note with Daddy. I can definitely recognize the artistry behind this and how groundbreaking it was, and while I definitely enjoyed a few tracks, overall I think it just wasn’t really my thing.

Björk - Vespertine
95

Perhaps one of the most ethereal albums I’ve ever listened to, Vespertine is an incredible achievement. It’s a dreamy and enthralling experience with heavenly vocals and a sense of intimacy that completely captivates you. This is one of those things that reminds me why I love music

Oh my god???
Spotify autoplayed Beef Jerky right as I was about to listen to something else, but something about it drew me in. I was captivated, then confused, then captivated again. I immediately went to listen to the entire album, and like, wow. So avant-garde, wonderfully catchy, obviously impressive. I had so much fun listening to this. I'll probably go listen to Le Pain Perdu again after I write this.
Highly recommend, this was awesome

Portishead - Dummy
98

Dummy is nothing short of transcendent. Hypnotic, haunting, absolutely gorgeous

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
NR

I’ve loved My Chemical Romance since my mid teens, but now that I’m older I feel I can truly appreciate what a feat Revenge in particular is. Every single song is worth listening to. Though it’s not my personal favorite of their albums, I think it’s probably their best. Astounding

Björk - Debut
87

I love Björk’s voice. This album is such a great listen, so beautiful and eccentric
