This album is not good, I find the production choice quite odd as it goes for more of an EDM style of production which can work well but it just doesn't feel right. On top of that lots Nicki's bars on this album feel silly.
Really underrated, more people will gravitate towards TPAB or GKMC which is understandable but Section.80 deserves more credit. Hot take this is better than DAMN. & Mr Morale.
A lot of the production used on this project is incredibly outdated in today’s standards but she manages to create a decent enough listen, it’s definitely more of a pop record than anything which is fine. The feature list is pretty stacked artists such as Eminem, Kanye West & Drake make an appearance and do decently enough. But overall not much to come back to all the time and definitely not a classic like some fans say.
Not the biggest Metro fan but overall the music here fit the film
Eminem slightly changes direction with this record as he leans towards a more serious tone at times while still being comedic at times and still manages to rap well.
Amazing and genre-bending, the way that elements of Rock, Hip-hop and Dance at times all come together in one amazing listen is mind boggling to me, but it works phenomenally. The features on this project also hit so hard; I mean, quality Hip-hop verses from Trugoy, MF DOOM & Bootie Brown, to name a few. What more could you want? This project is outrageously good, and I would recommend it to anyone to give it a listen.
As huge as Chappell Roan has become recently it intrigued me enough to buy and listen to her album and I’ve gotta say it’s quite overhyped to say the least and not overly impressive, don’t get me wrong it’s not awful by any means but not fantastic either.
Not Kendrick's best but still a decent LP. The concept of being able to reverse the track list is genius and the story of the album also gets reversed is equally as clever.
What a mess! With that said this album is filled with uplifting tracks while also having more emotionally deep tracks and even having incredible rapping performances on tracks. The Life Of Pablo doesn’t take a clear path which could represents Kanye’s chaotic nature.
A decent album, maybe in the future it will grow on me
*edit: it totally grew on me way more over time. 70 —> 80
