Incredibly dissonant, sounds like shit. But that's also part of the charm.
Elton John and Bernie Taupin just casually writing some of the best Piano Rock ever made.
I think the worst part about this record is you know how good Kevin is at songwriting and producing.
He just sounds out of his element.
I get what he was going for, I know how great this record could be. But as it stands, this record sounds lazy and it physically drains me to listen to it.
Couldn't even point Chile out on a map for you but they make some fine music!
The only piece of crititque I really have for this album is how disconnected from reality it is. Taylor's writing process is bizarre.
Assumedly, she took the song 'Sympathy is a knife' as a diss track, and made one of the worst reversal girly pop diss tracks the world has ever seen.
Eldest Daughter is either one of the worst narrative pieces I've heard in a long time, or if it is set in some reality then that's twice as worrying.

It makes me happy that music can sound this good. Never knew about Geese, or Cameron Winter, just threw myself in, and fell in love.
The memories associated with this album overpower any critical thought towards it. I learned my first song on guitar because of this album, had my first kiss to this album, had parties with this album, made friends because of this album. No other record in the world could come close to how it makes me feel. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it perfect to me? Absolutely.
I'm glad they really honed in on the production this project. It's overall a solid project, I feel as though this is some sister album to Trench, just without as much bite. Lyrically far more introspective into Tyler's worries and doubts, and coming to terms with his faults. Where as an album like Trench felt much more Narrative driven. But there's plenty of material, plenty to sink your teeth into, and it's one of the better albums Twenty One Pilots have put out in a ... read more
This album will be loved by women that key your car and send you snapchats of your burnt hoodies. It's like a Disney soundtrack to a movie about a deranged and egotistical nymphomaniac. And let me tell ya', I'm not here for it.
Not loving it as much as I loved Derealized but there's plenty of fantastic material on here. Also really digging the lean into the glitchy style of production.
Insanely entertaining. The beats, production and flow are all immaculate. Wish there was a little more variation in the songs though
Oh lord have I tried. The clash between the instruments and whoever is screeching just isn't cutting it for me.
It's been long overdue for Jamie to release an album. While this album doesn't come close to capturing the mood of In Colour, the dance floor beats and house music almost make up for it. Baddy On The Floor, Life, and All You Children are in my regular rotation, and are amazing in every way. There's a few duds here and there, and some okay songs and ideas. But you're bound to like something.
