The Elegants - Little Star

I didn't know any of these people before this in my project of listening to every Billboard #1 song and did a wikipedia check and still learned nothing interesting and that's reflective of this song. Nothing wrong but nothing interesting or uniquely grabbing. I keep waiting for it to do anything but it refuses too. So i have very little to say about it. This is Mid.

Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun - American Flags

So wanted to take a break to and try to give a non-meme review to something that is a typical grifter song of two untalented hacks. Well, let me at least say I think Tom is technically an okayish... rapper. Because when you hear Adam Calhoun next to him it makes Tom sound like he actually is good comparatively. Because I'd take a dollar-store Republican Eminem style than Whatever the Hell Calhoun is trying to do on this song.

So my first takeaway is this. Isn't Tom like well off from music? ... read more

Ricky Nelson - Poor Little Fool

So this is a series of reviews. I'm doing of every #1 song on Billboard ever. And this was the very 1st ever. This song taught me that Teen idols were always a thing. This song is a very simple soft pop number but it's solidly sung and performed and there's an irresistible charm to the song. Despite the format of Teen idol lovelorn song has been done to death. This is one of the best examples of it. I have seen it personally.

"Can i ask i feel this review is being given a zero with respect for how they captured how bad this sound was. am I wrong? lol"
On Dalton's review of Kyle Gordon - My Life (is the Worst Life Ever)
"I'm going to be blunt here. Hate him or not. Kyle's parodies have specified decades in their joke of "every (insert subgenre and decade here)" So i don't think a valid criticism of it is just that he's not parodying today but the past because he's done parodies of eurodance form the 80s and Female made country from the 2010s and old rock from the 50s. Are you saying that he should only do parodies of relevant sounds and artists? It sounds like you're a fan of this sound of music, and that's part of why you're upset there's a parody of it today. If you don't like the parody, I get that, but to call it "Outdated" when it was never meant to parody something right now is weird to me."

"Can i ask do you like rap music? Because even though it's not the greatest song of all time like the thing says. I do think it's a brutal diss and wonder about one part of this review. "Some of the disses are a little too aggressive" This to me sounds like saying "This rock song is too loud" or "This metal song is too Heavy" It just sounds weird to say a diss track can be "Too aggressive""
On JohnnyBear's review of QUEEF JERKY - QUEEF UNDERGROUND
"I feel they aren't "Going" anywhere. Like this is a fun side thing for two people one who uploads videos about youtube drama all the time and another who makes commentary videos and streams. This is a creative outlet that is also an excuse for Nick and Dev to make music and they make it for them and no one else, I feel. They get the joke and that's all that matters to them i think. That said i also think it's a mixed bag."
