Well glad this grew on me even though it wasn’t to much. This was the 2nd Costello album I heard & I wasn’t much of a fan then but I am now. I love this years model & imperial bedroom. Nothing bad about this record but nothing that stands out to me it feels like a pretty average Elvis Costello & The attractions record. My favorite here is blue chair.

Glad I revisited this. At first listen I enjoyed it but didn’t think much. It’s not one of my favorite albums but it’s impressive. Despite listening to & not caring much for a black midi album not too long ago this grew on me. It’s strange but something I already wanna listen to again. There’s a lot to it lyrically & musically & they fit together with their diversity & weirdness.
