Hackle - Wicker Men
52

Album (ep dnc) 62/500:

I’m done with this shit everything they release becomes more formulaic and boring

Sematary - Heart So Pure
40

Haven’t listened to Sematary since 666 released and that really changed my perspective on his music for the worse. This really put the final nail in the coffin for me

Friko - Where we've been, Where we go from here
80

Album 61/500:

I skipped this because I convinced myself this would be bad without listening to it. I take it back

Bartees Strange - Horror
77

Album 60/500:

Technically amazing record and a fun listen but lacks anything making me want to come back to it.

venturing - Ghostholding
81

Album 59/500:

Another solid release from Jane

Hotline TNT - Cartwheel
70

Album 58/500:

Most run of the mill shoegaze album of all time but there are some cool riffs on this

Horsegirl - Phonetics On and On
74

Album 57/500:

Fun indie album not really anything else to say

MJ Lenderman - Boat Songs
97

(Relisten) Album 8/500:

77=>97
Boat songs has really grown on me over the last month but like MJ Lendermans other records (except ghost of your guitar solo) the closer stops it from being perfect.

Oklou - choke enough
78

Album 56/500:

Really good but I relistened to eusexua right before and it really pales in comparison

Steely Dan - Aja
92

Album 55/500:
Aja makes me want to drop everything and move to the Florida quays

89

Album 54/500:

took me half the album to realise he had his dick out

Neil Young - American Stars 'n Bars
80

album 53/500:

Got recommended this by my Dad and it proves Neil Young as one of the greatest songwriters.

Inhaler - Open Wide
60

Album 52/500:

Not bad I just genuinely felt nothing listening to it

Squid - Cowards
68

Album 51/500:

I really wanted to like ‘cowards’ because I really enjoyed O monolith but I just couldn’t. From my perspective squid will always be in the shadow of BCNR and Black Midi due all three of them coming from the Windmill in Brixton and this is because the the other two bands have consistently better output and ‘cowards’ has really proved that for me.

Sharon Van Etten - Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory
76

Album 50/500:

Some beautiful vocals and lyricism but I feel as if it drags on.

LCD Soundsystem - 45:33
82

Album 49/500:

Saved this to listen to whilst running and it’s perfect for it

Wednesday - Rat Saw God
82

Album 47/500:

Tried to listen to this record around the time of its release but couldn’t really get into it and almost two years later I love it.

Elliott Smith - XO
88

Album 46/500:

Definitely not as good as either/or but still showcases Elliott Smiths talent insanely well.

The Band - The Band
84

Album 45/500:

Amazing
