Album 119/500:
This truly feels like a low point in the Bright Eyes discography especially because the Monsters of Folk record and Conor’s own solo record from around this time are so much more interesting.
Album 118/500:
Was recommended this by a close friend and it was good however it didn’t connect with me as much as it does with other people
Album 117/500:
There are some absolutely amazing moments on ‘southern rock opera’ but it’s bloated to all hell
Album 111/500:
Enjoyable but had a couple tracks I really didn’t like
Album 108/500:
I’m so happy they took their time with this release, ‘Forever Howlong’ just feels way more complete than what they were playing at Bush Hall.
Album 107/500:
Pure energy from back to front but lacks any real substance
Album 106/500:
A spiritual successor to ‘the devil and the god are raging inside of me’ but doesn’t hold the same weight emotionally.
This came out at the best possible time
Album 104/500
I hate that this is so good because of how much of a piece of shit Jesse lacy is
Album 102/500:
Everything sparklehorse has produced just oozes with pure creativity and passion
That last minute is life changing but the rest of the song doesn’t do much for me
