First half of this record goes so hard, the distant instrumentals and the monotonous vocals make songs that sound both nostalgic and different.
But the second half falls flat.
After ‘Molly & Aquafina’ the record feels like it’s dragging on rather than adding to the experience.

Lyrically this album is phenomenal, Elucid and Woods show some of the strongest penmanship in modern music. Production is pretty solid, especially with Jpegmafias production in ‘Woke Up and Asked Siri How I’m Gonna die’.

This album would’ve been top ten for me, I love the production, the comic book references and the fun energy of the whole project. But the comic book skits over stay their welcome, ‘Beef Rap’ would’ve been my favourite song on the album but the comic book intro is just so annoying.

Painfully mid

I love LP1 as it is able to convey the feeling of a bittersweet end, it feels like the last hug shared between you and a friend you will never see again.
But LP3 is more polished and mature, it makes me feel like an emo kid who is now a divorced dad living in a shitty Midwest town. I just can’t relate to that, I’m a college student from the UK.

I always put off listening to this album, but this album is brilliant. ‘Kid A’ is definitely the bands most experimental album, the more electronic elements to this album are done extremely well as it keeps the music fresh without losing their iconic sound.
This album was written in a time when Thom Yorke was completely burnt out from the ‘OK Computer’ tour and had become exhausted and depressed, which caused the lyrics on this album to be vulnerable and emotional.

I really love some of the songs on this album (‘House Of Cards’, ‘Jigsaw Falling Into Place’ and ‘Bodysnatchers’) but overall this album doesn’t come close to Radioheads other works.
Sonically this album is amazing, atmosphere is built up extremely well and each song cohesively flows together. But I feel the lyrical themes of the album are weak compared to ‘OK Computer’.

We live in the world Radiohead predicted. Rampant consumerism, political distrust and isolation are all issues we are all dealing with in the modern world, Radiohead explores these themes in a way that is both experimental and digestible.

The vocals on some of the earlier tracks aren’t appealing to me but otherwise it’s a fun, noisy album.

I really want to love this album it’s just a bit too year 7 music class in some areas

That 40 minute track makes this album for me
