A bit repetitive at times, but it creates a great atmosphere by the last song. Man I love finding great music through shit like the sturdy kid
Fuck Mark Kozelek but Duk Koo Kim is one of the greatest songs of all time
Posthumously, this thing hits even harder than it did at the time. These two songs trigger a strange nostalgia for me. I remember listening to these on repeat, non-stop, while reflecting on the seemingly non-stop tragedies of young rappers in that music scene. Even as I've matured past adolescence, with Juice being one of, if not my, favorite artists at the time, I can still fully acknowledge that there is a hole in the rap scene that has been missing since his passing.
Last three tracks are so beautiful. Definitely owe this a relisten but it's amazing to listen to this project.
Rest In Peace Groggs
