Shotgun Willy - Respected Man
NR

It's good. For 5 listens, then it becomes just fine. C

Lankybox - The Milk Song

People listen to this and not Bill Wurtz. Let that sink in.
It's catchy for all the wrong reasons. F+

Pitbull - Pitbull Starring in Rebelution

Not as bad as you remember, nor as great as you remember. B-

Big Gigantic - Brighter Future

I thought it was pretty fun. The Little Things is good. B-

Chris Brown - Chris Brown

A good R&B album. C+

Tuff City Squad - Breakmania

THis album is... good. It's just a bunch of drum breaks. But they're solid drum breaks.

Kid Rock - Devil Without a Cause

I like this. It's perfectly fine, good even. The good parts put it here. I think the only reason people dislike it is because people dislike his politics, and thus tried to find excuses to hate him more. I don't want to talk politics. B-

Charlie Puth - Nine Track Mind

Listening to this, you wouldn't hear the genius of Puth. Even he knows that. D

Tones And I - Dance Monkey

It's... fine. Perfectly okay. I didn't feel infuriated listening to it like I did "Girls Like You." C+

Corey Feldman - Angelic 2 the Core

The singles are fun (for the first listen). And the rest is a pile of mid. C

Boyinaband - Don't Stay In School

Much more solid than the majority consensus, but still on the nose. D+

James Brown - The Payback

Just groovy front to back.

Norman Cook - Skip To My Loops

I think you can tell by my avatar that I think this is one of, if not the best sample cd out there

Kara's Flowers - The Fourth World

Soap Disco and My Ocean Blue are the highlights, songs which combine Weezer and Green Day, the Beatles with REM, and Garbage with Oasis in a great way. The rest is actually fine, but if you had no time to listen to the full album, listen to those two songs. C.

Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane

I love this album.
The singles on this album are good, of course. But it really shines in its deeper cuts. The Sun is a wonderful ballad, and Harder to Breathe, the first song on the album, is great. You can hear influences from musicians like the Isley Brothers and Sly and the Family Stone. I wouldn't say any song here is "bad." The closest there is to a bad song might be Tangled, which is quite mediocre. Every other song is at least fun.

I actually like this one. A lot.
You're My Fantasy is a calming song to, say, watch the sunset to.
Get Her Back is a pretty okay song for sleeping.
Still Madly Crazy is the first clunker on the album.
Lock the Door is the first song I can confidently say is good. The theatrical piano and the soulful singing add up to a good song.
Whatever I want is sounds like the upbeat dance-y version of the first track.
Living in New York City is excellent. James Brown impressions are often hit or ... read more
