Honestly? Banger. I fucking HATED bad luck, but this song is awesome.
The music video was insane, the song was super generic, but I give it props because even though Cervini mixed it, it doesn't sound like his generic production. You know what? Hell yeah.
Finally getting around to writing a review!
INTRO: This EP took the best things about the last BHP album and made it more concise, digestable, and impactful. The production also sounds so damn good and ties everything together so well. Every song here is pretty much perfect.
MALICE: It starts with a 1 and a half minute smacker with two vocal lines and just straight up heavy breakdowns with cool ambience and closed hi hats!
ANGELOS: Piano, piano, violns, piano, and piano, and djent. Best song ... read more
INTRO: Alright, the end of Parabola is here I guess. First off, this is... a slight improvement on Beyond A Reasonable Doubt? That is a perfect album in my opinion, in every way shape or form. Insanely good production. Vocals are a little shaky at times but the chorus is super solid. I'm aware of Sean's work from Parabola and Sonorize and this is a really cool different style. Hoping to see more from this project soon!
This sucks. This band sucks. Fuck them for what they did to Brian. Kicking out a member who basically founded the band and used his music to get through his mental health issues is fucked up, especially since he was ready and willing to perform and participate. This song is also ridiculously stupid, repetitive, and does nothing new or cool, it's just heavy for the sake of being heavy. True Power was such an incredible album and I hate to see them pull this shit and make this terrible song. ... read more
I will never stop glazing this band. Perfection after perfection, and it was really nice to hear Sean on vocals again on Last Dance. He sounds a hell of a lot better on that song than anywhere on Beyond A Reasonable Doubt.
