EDIT: 71-92. I don't care, this album is genuinely REALLY good after listening to it a couple times.
The most complimentary thing I can say about this album is that it's definitely better than classic symptoms.
Is it on the same level as their work with Tom? Definitely not, and Holy Hell is the only album they will ever make that will even come close to the same level as AOGHAU or LF/LT.
Music wise, this is a pretty good album. It's not groundbreaking by any means but having ... read more
One of the best choruses I've heard from the boys. Really excited for this new era! Production sounds great
Am I excited for the album? Sure!
The album art is awesome it screams easycore
Anyway.
Make It Make Sense is a great song, amazing chorus, just wish the verses had a little more screaming. ALSO, WHY DID THEY RUIN THE SONG WITH THE DAMN INTRO. "You want it? You fucking got it!" 🐺🐺👿
LeBron is an awesome song title, and it's a fun song, kinda sounds like a Common Courtesy B-Side as someone else mentioned. No complaints about it, but it doesn't really stand ... read more
That riff in Anabolic Spudsman has NO business going that hard, and the chorus in Vascular Demi Goth doesn't either
Amazing if not better than the album. TOO LATE is AMAZING
Some of this guy's jazziest rap I've ever heard, like bros most recent album was good but this is PHENOMENAL. I love how he's leaning more into jazz and sampling here
I'm not meatriding but it's so much better than the debut in every aspect.
Production is awesome, vocal performances are much more engaging, and there's almost as much diversity genre wise than the debut but it still sounds much more cohesive
Yay the equation has returned
Kinda feels like a rehash of Animal I Have Become but their last couple albums were so dogshit so I'm happy there's something I actually think is decent for once. Hi Adam!
I've listened to this at least 5 times since it dropped and I still don't remember what it sounds like.
Is it just me or does the chorus sound EXACTLY like "All The Love In The World"
I feel like since FTWWTE Sam has just been singing variations of the same note sequences in the choruses. I heard it a bit on Seeing Red which was a pretty decent song, Curse was very much the best thing they've released since FTWWTE and it's not even close, but this just sounds like a B-side of classic symptoms of a broken spirit. Sure it's heavy but it's not anything they haven't ... read more
