As someone who loves late 2000s, early 2010s Lady Gaga I was really excited for this album as it felt like a return to it with the singles Disease and Abracadabra. I especially love Abracadabra because of how batshit insane the song is. This album was such an amazing surprise.

With Kendrick you can never really tell what he's going to do next and clearly he wanted to play into that by surprise dropping an entire album out of nowhere and somehow managing to hide the entire thing from leakers. It's probably one of greatest surprise drops of an album I've ever seen especially considering how inconsistent the gaps between Kendrick project are.
