A genuinely gorgeous melodic house album, shocked that it's taken me so long to get around to it. Qrion has a wonderful understanding of subtlety in her production and songwriting, and it leads to an extremely soothing listening experience.
Fave tracks: Lean Into Light, Hush My Heart, Wayside, Ice Palace, I Like You A Lot, Sad Song
Least fave track: Pushing Up
Rshand comes into his own with his debut LP, producing some of the chillest melodic house of the year. The only real critique I can levy against him is that his texture and songwriting game isn't quite up to par with the best in the scene like Angara or Ben Böhmer, but there's still a decent amount of highlights on this album.
Fave tracks: Sentient, Evergreen, November, Hearts Divide, Say What You Wanna Say, Unworthy
Least fave track: Here For Tonight
The GOAT of bass music returns yet again with another collection from the vault, quite possibly the very best one since the second. From start to finish, Space Laces delivers nonstop banger after banger, crushing basslines and infectious grooves throughout. If he completed even half of these tracks by next year and put them towards a debut LP, we'd be looking at a potential AOTY. As it stands though this is an absolute must-listen for this week, don't miss out!

The second side to their debut album last year, while not having quite the same punch, is still an establishing moment for the act as one of the most exciting names to come out of the Anjunabeats label this decade. Fusing Justice-inspired french disco elements with modern day progressive house and techno that's sure to get you moving!
Fave tracks: Better Today Better Tomorrow, Audio Machina, Television, Touch, Trinitron
Least fave track: Missed Connection
Some damn solid future funk, really glad this ended up on my radar!
Fave tracks: keep on, take your time, ballroom romance, touch, colors, outta my mind
Least fave track: outro
Stealth Punctual and SMLE release which is probably why this one's clicking a bit more for me
Hybrid trap pioneers G Jones and Eprom are back yet again with another disk of eclectic, acid-techno-inspired takes on hybrid trap. Much like their previous two outings together this one is an absolute treat on the ears, albeit not quite as addicting as the previous two, and certainly not as boundary-pushing as the first.

What's funny is that from what I've heard this is their only good song.
So is he done releasing on this alias or is he not? Does this mean we're getting that INFEKT collab at some point? Oh well, good EDM is good EDM, I'll take it.
fuze: very fun and naturalistic evolution of a lot of sonny's older sound fusing with ISOxo's hybrid trap leanings.
while you you were sleeping: there's definitely an art to making thoroughly engaging hardgroove techno tracks. This one ticks most of the boxes, even though i would have maybe liked it to go a ... read more
Frost Children's sixth studio LP sees the duo reaching a new peak with their songwriting and production, in what is likely their best body of work yet. The sawtooth basslines on this record pack some serious punch and really helps to land this euphoric early-2010s-style joyride they're aiming for here. So much of this record just hits on and on, and while perhaps not as cohesive as "I Love My Computer", this is yet another record that proves 2025 to be the year of EDM, even ... read more
Probably the best Paper Skies track I've heard, but good god he needs to learn how to mix his melodic drops properly, this isn't tearout.
They could've done a lot better with mastering that first drop
Outside of the 12th Planet remix it's really not that bad guys
12th Planet: 2.7/10
Sikdope: 5.1/10
Tommie Sunshine x Usica: 6.4/10
MIU: 7.9/10 probably the best thing MIU has done
Quiet Disorder: 7.4/10

Vorso returns with a spiritual successor to his debut LP, "Holonomy", on his second EP of the year "Fizzbuzz". If you're at all a fan of that record, this is yet another stellar collection demonstrating the producer's insane attention to detail and ear for production hooks which makes him such a must-listen artist in the scene. "Lofty" in particular really caught me off-guard with demonstrating just how good he's starting to get with making house. ... read more
