at times American gangster sacrifices song quality for cinematic value which is great on a first listen but drags on further relistens.

flawless in every way the intro 'kill jay-z' is the only weak track in my opinion and it still has its value in the narrative and is by no means sub par. 444 shows jay-z at his most mature and it reflects beautifully in this short and sweet project.
