It really surprised me. And in a good way. Strange project. While you can strongly hear the early Odd Future influence and the rawness and aggressivity of it, you still got some great raps from a 16 years old Earl that was still pretty rough. The first half is either good but not great or passible songs, while the other one becomes a little better with the production and themes in my opinion. Nothing excellent, but nothing really bad.
Revolutionary for 80s and pop in general, iconic, so soulful and chill sounding and amazing singing overall. Few songs with a lot of substance
First half is ok and with some unnecessary beat switches, but the second half is full of bangers and it becomes way better.
