guys shout out to Darryl the drummer from this band my best friend used eye liner I stole from my mom to put on him at a local concert and he signed my phone case
love that guy vro...
i just lowk remembered this album. big fan of the vibes and cover, decent trance
lowk kinda dissapointing, some songs I REALLY like, others I really do nottttt...
beautiful and haunting, i love jarboe's vocals in this one especially on Mother's Milk and also Mike's ofc too
"I love experimental rap but idk why girls don't talk to me" whos gonna tell him
i feel like this was a slightly more digestable swans project compared to SFTB (only other album by them that ive rated on here) that I actually enjoyed quite a bit
this all was very cowboy-esque idk if thats just me
felt like donning mike gira's cowboy hat and a flannel then riding away on my horse into the sunset in the 1890s or something and sweating and crying and bleeding also
I really liked this one, actually
its a lot different and honestly just more lofi and happier than Earl's other works
its kinda interesting considering the pretty intense themes of depression and isolation that some of his stuff has (i.e. I don't like shit, I don't go outside) and all these other albums are great ofc but I guess it's sorta nice to see a happier and chiller take on his stuff
I hope he's doin good
