Doug Walker really taught Pink Floyd a lesson with his rendition of "The Wall".
A handful of songs were ok on this album, but Pink Cellphone I think drops this by a whole ten points by how bad the last minute and a half is and made a 7.5 out of ten song drop to a 3.
“I don't even know what virtue signaling means! Young men used to fight wars now they make memes!”
My life truly was like a video game after hearing Ronnie Radke present his white boy swagger and lyrical miracle writing.
Going off of Radiohead's previous releases this is definitely inferior compared to OK Computer and Kid A, but I still believe Hail to the thief is still on par with those projects and believe this album to be a little bit underrated.
This album is horrible and the only thing that doesn't make it a total zero is the entertainment factor that Don't Tell Me How to Live and We the People have in being humorously bad and the rest of the songs are simply boring and a slough to sit through.
I would say this project almost breaks into my top 3 RHCP albums, it it weren't for the over abundance of songs which tends to be a downside of most RHCP albums and songs like Porcelain, I Like Dirt, and Savior weigh the album down a bit for me.
Edit: 12 -> 50
While this project is still not very good, it is a massive improvement compared to RHCP's debut album and the few positives I can come up with are that this sounds slightly better and has a handful of somewhat entertaining songs.
I think I initially gave this a low rating because of fatigue from the debut project which caused me to have a negative experience, a majority of the songs on here are really fun to listen to and some being well written.
