A new low, the drop from ILDMLFY to this is astronomical, it makes the previous album look like TPAB. An album of nothing, all hippity-hoppity Dax-esque flows with no memorable or funny lyrics. All the same lines about haters, and bitches. The same repetitive guitar sections and emotionless EDM sounds, 25 songs of the same thing with the best song being 27 seconds. Making a re-review of this.
4 days ago I saw Godspeed You live. It was simultaneously the most cathartic and out of this world experience I have ever had. It made me revisit this album, one that was once my favorite of all time and relisten to it with a different mindset and mood. I love this album, I always have and I always will. It is extremely beautiful, hopeful, and hopeless.
