Where Iowa had genius mixing and a raw sound, this album sounds like what happens when I ask Grok to make a metal album. This album sounds like the metal your mom puts on in the car.
It doesn't feel completely artificial, which is good. Still doesn't live up to their peak unfortunately.
I don't know what's with this album. It feels like either the vocals aren't heavy enough or the instrumentals aren't heavy enough, and it's like that for the entire album.
Solid metal album. Some great songs, but its starting to head in the radio kinda direction
