Fantastic psychedelic album.I love every track on here except for “Mushroom” due to it feeling kind of empty especially compared to every other track. The influence this album has on post rock, namely my beloved Godspeed You! Black Emperor is clear. Favorite songs were “Paper House” and “Oh Yeah” due to their brilliant vibey bliss. Don’t call me a bitch who doesn’t like long songs because “Halleluhwah” isn’t one of my favorites. ... read more
If there is one song that I could listen to for the rest of my life, it’s probably this one. Has everything that I love about music in it. Not my favorite song of all time but definitely really high up. One of the best, if not the best straight forward rock song ever made.
There is definitely something missing, and it’s not as much of my thing as the previous two. Basically, I’m an Issac Wood stan
I have never felt more agony listening to music
Not many things can do this, but the last track genuinely brought me close to tears. Idk how this thing can be so goddamn good, but jesus.
A very consistent album so the some low points. Overall really good, but some of the songs are just really generic and hold it back from getting a higher score
Sorry Lou. A lot of the songs are portly produced but there are the obvious highlights
The album starts off with some decent bangers, then the second half of the album hits, and I feel nothing. Then “open mouthed boy” is straight up bad and very odd.
I like them long, I like them lengthy, I like them complete, I like them fully
It’s not that bad. Why do so many people hate this thing I don’t understand
Too many short songs that have nothing happening. If they were just part of the other songs then maybe I would like it better, but they are just kind of there for no real purpose but to add some funny song names, and make it look like it has more songs than it actually does. That’s not a real complaint, but whatever. The album is very consistent, but some songs do stand out more than others, due to packing more of a punch. It’s great most people probably know that though
Bruh. It manages to seem like it would be a train wreck, but despite that it manages to work.
