Such a fun album man. One of the most enjoyable listens I have had recently
Goddamnit. This album is just so iconic to me. I still remember every lyric, every riff, and every slight difference in the vocal performance. This is a perfect album to me, in a similar way to unknown pleasures.
Edit:
Memory isn't always a good thing. I have complicated feelings with this album, but this is me being objective with it. Also this is my score for the American version.
Fuck it. This is one of the most important album to me and the album that really got me into music. This thing is an actually perfect album in my opinion. Very few things can top some of these songs.
“That’s was a good ass album”-me after listening to this. But yeah this album is great. It’s got classics like “Killing for company”, “Where Does A Body End”, and “I am the Sun” along with slower songs like “Warm”. This thing is solid captivating and fun in the swans sort of way.
Hahahahahahahahahahaahahababahahahah cause the score is the same as the name hahahahahaahahahahahahahhahababaha
Yeah…F# A# is better. While is still enjoy and respect this album a lot, it’s not a personal favorite anymore.
The more I listen to this album the more it doesn’t click with me. After listening to other Tyler albums I find myself connecting with and enjoying flower boy far more, and even some moments off of CMIYGL. Idk man
I enjoyed this album upon relisten. It’s not the groups best, and the first two songs were a bit boring, but all in all a very consistent listen. Sister Ray is the definite highlight though.
