One of if not the BEST ambient album I have heard, second to Aphex Twin's second album
Them Crooked Vultures 1/?????
I NEED A SECOND ALBUM!! I even want It more than a new Queens of the Stone Age album!

This album is brutal, all the songs are incredibly hard and all are killer hits.
This super group is made up of Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, and John Paul Jones, bassist of Led Zeppelin.
It seems like a miracle to me that a group like this was able to get together and even record an album, and ... read more

I wasn't expecting this EP at all, but I'm so glad it's a reality! I understand that Josh had been dreaming of playing in the Paris catacombs for years, and he finally made it! I'm so happy for him.
All of these songs are amazing, and the atmosphere adds a lot to the songs (especially Villains of Circumstance).
Suture Up Your Future would have ... read more

The end of the trilogy that began with ...Like Clockwork, and a good ending!
I don't know why I consciously tried to lower my rating for this album if I think it's great. Maybe because I thought 90 was too high for this album. But after thinking about it, and based on my rating of the songs, this album deserves it.
Maybe I wanted to lower my rating because ... read more

Is it possible that this album is Queens of the Stone Age's worst? Yes, it's possible! But it's still very good.
What if it's more commercial than the others? No problem!
All the songs are good, and there are great tracks like Feet Don't Fail Me Now and The Devil Has Landed. I love the energy of songs like The Way You Used To Do and Head Like a Haunted House. ... read more

Well, it's not bad...
Except for I Sat by the Ocean, these songs didn't need an acoustic version because... The originals are already pretty calm on their own.
But I Sat by the Ocean is good.

I think this album is perfect.
Not just the music, the lyrics convey so much emotion, especially considering the album's background.
Josh Homme was clinically dead during a routine knee operation (although he later claimed the story was false, and was more of a drug issue). This caused Josh to suffer severe depression for several years.
All these feelings and ... read more

I really enjoyed Ode to Clarissa and Born to Hula, the rest are great too.
The concert is also great, too bad the audio quality makes it hard to fully enjoy Nick's songs.
By the way, the version of You Can't Quit Me Baby from this concert is even better than the original. What a banger!

Dude, this album... It's simply brilliant. For me, it's fighting for third place with Rated R, and apparently, according to my calculations, it wins.
All of this is to say that I don't understand how it's possible that this album is below 80 on this site is beyond me. It's experimental, yes, but it's ... read more

I liked this live album more than I thought I would. I thought it would have poorer audio quality, but for a 2005 release, it's surprisingly good. What else can I say about this concert?
Well, one day before I heard this album, I saw a clip of Josh getting into an argument with someone in the audience over something he'd done, and he called him ... read more

This album has a mysterious and dark atmosphere in most of its songs, which makes it a little calmer.
Here we lose Nick Oliveri and Dave Grohl, and Mark Lanegan only sings on the first song, so Josh has the greatest weight as a singer on this album; something that is established in the next albums.
Even though this album is the worst of their ... read more

This album is a masterpiece from beggining to end.
It's a conceptual album about someone that begins to drive until arriving at the dessert, and the songs are the music this person listen in it's journey; that's why you can hear radio presenters and the person switching stations from time to time.
The person that drivers seems to be running away from ... read more

What is left to say about this album? It's real real good.
It gets further away from the hard sound of Kyuss and aims more to the alternative sound although keeping the stoner rock sound.
The same that this album has the softest moments of their discografy at this point, It also has the strongest thanks to Nick Oliveri joining the band as a bassist and a second ... read more

This album goes hard as hell.
How is it so underrated in this site?
This album is not only great, but It also is the beggining of this absolute unit of a band that I consider to be one of my favourites.
What I like most about this album is that it acts as a transition between the dry and distorted style from Kyuss to Queens own style, and It sounds extremely well.
It's ... read more

I feel like Sheep theme could have worked so much better as the ending of Storge than as it's own track
This was my introduction to psychedelick rock, and at first it didn't click for me, but after the second listen to this album it did click.
It's a great album, but I would say that you have to be in a certain mood to listen to it.
