I'm treating this as their 1985 live album from the ryogoku kokugikan in Tokyo as for some reason it's not on here. That is one of the best, if not the best, live shows ever captured
the power couple no one would expect. This isn't ginger at his most powerful, but in a sense the reserved funkiness is far more suited for the Africa 70's sound. One of my favourite live albums
dipping more into Jaco's mind as a composer, word of mouth is less of the greatest bassist to ever live trying to display that, and more of him trying (and succeeding brilliantly) to show the word his unique compositional mind
no album exists that has done as much for a single instrument as this. Genius, effortlessly cool and truly revolutionary in every sense of the word. Words can not begin to do justice how forward thinking and masterfully composed this album is!
such a peaceful and listenable album. I think the minimalism and isolation of pink moon suits drake more, but to say that the album is this good when drake felt like the songs were over-indulgent is such a credit to this lost genius.
I would argue that it is their best album. Neurotica is a proper banger, highlight of the album for sure. HEAD BANGING SHIT!
