Paced more evenly than Destroy Erase Improve, the hard-thrashing Chaosphere offers a snapshot of Meshuggah at their most fluid, as an unrelenting procession of uptempo riffs swirls in a rhythmic vortex.

What Meshuggah have over all the carbon copy death metal acts out there is that they focus primarily on knowing how to play their instruments and segue tempo changes rather than trying to outspeed and outgrowl everybody.

IS THIS ALBUM METALCORE OR NOT?
This review arises from an interesting conversation I had yesterday with SKoRnE13 and Chili, and is an historical consideration rather than a now useless technical comment on the greatness of this seminal masterpiece.

A djent album that is actually intense, creative, and memorable instead of bland, stagnant, and forgettable that has become the norm for its genre
cada vez me tiran más los momentos maníacos asesinos de meshuggah que los absolutos sistemáticos
totalmente caotico. tiene segmentos inesperados y que te obligan a arrugar tu rostro. Es increible como la bateria sigue la mayor parte del tiempo un compas de 4/4, y los demas instrumentos se adaptan a dicho compás, creando patrones geniales, que deberian sonar arritmicos, pero resulta que suenan jodidamente pesados. ademas un disco muy influyente en la evolución del metal de ueva generación.
el nivel de caos de este lo hace demasiado bueno.
