This was very cool up until Heavy and then it became all samey sounding music till the final song. The album shows its best parts with Calling U back and Hush with the next few being also really good till the track Heavy. It slowly transitions to a lofi, calm and soothing sound which was fine but it gets all samey and that kinda brought the album down for me.
Rage music ain't my jam. Far from it, I actually can not stand the genre a lot of the times. But oh my god does Jane Remover did something special and ran with it.
This album is just a blast from start to end. It's sonically dense as all hell, as you are constantly bombarded with samples and sounds and hooks and insane rap. This was my first Jane Remover and I'm glad I gave it a shot. There's not even a favourite track of mine in this album, as I just enjoy the entire ... read more
This is the most raw as fuck album ever made in the history of raw as fuck albums. Genuinely can't believe people used to think that liking My Chemical Romance was some kind of a weird edgy thing because the band is iconic as hell, even years after The Black Parade's release.
Holy shit. Can't believe this was somehow made in 1969. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Every song is an absolute fucking experience which just immersed me with the incredible sound and vocals of the band.
Every track brings something new with it and just feels so experimental and ahead of its time. Even Moonchild which seems to be the weakest track, builds up perfectly to the beautiful finale that is In the Court of the Crimson King. One of my favourite albums of all time, ... read more
Wasn't the biggest fan of BRAT, so I had tempered expectations going into this as I heard it had some heavy BRAT vibes, but my god does this album shocked me. It's so, so good. Never heard Rebecca's music before, I knew she had couple of popular songs and that's it. Saw this being hyped up all over and finally I caved it and man this album was an experience.
The album sets the stage perfectly with Salvation but the track Trust! was where I knew this was going to be ... read more
EP so meh I listened to Antifragile right after. Ngl tho I don't understand why tf they won't go back to that sound.
If you had told me a year ago that Jennie would have the best debut solo album release among the four Blackpink members, I would have laughed in your face, but here we are. Yeah this is pretty good. The features especially are the standouts. The album fizzles out from the eleventh track but the first ten are real good stuff.
Probably the most pure fun album I've listened to ever?? I'll let it sit with me for a while but goddamn this lives upto the hype and beyond. The sound is straight up cartoonish and fun as fuck and takes me back to my younger days that I can't help but feel nostalgic towards.
The build up to the iconic Feel Good Inc. is so incredible with banger tracks like Last living souls and Kids with Guns. And then the album provides some of the most amazing lineup of songs from then on ... read more
Yeah other than Electric Feel and Kids, I don't care for this album at all. MGMT's sound is cool but it's all so forgettable other than those two which are awesome as fuck songs.
I don't even like folk music like that but this was so fucking good. Need to get into Geese now.
Yeah this is the best Deftones album yet. Chino might just be one of the greatest vocalists to ever exist.
