This was very cool up until Heavy and then it became all samey sounding music till the final song. The album shows its best parts with Calling U back and Hush with the next few being also really good till the track Heavy. It slowly transitions to a lofi, calm and soothing sound which was fine but it gets all samey and that kinda brought the album down for me.
Rage music ain't my jam. Far from it, I actually can not stand the genre a lot of the times. But oh my god does Jane Remover did something special and ran with it.
This album is just a blast from start to end. It's sonically dense as all hell, as you are constantly bombarded with samples and sounds and hooks and insane rap. This is the most raw as fuck album ever made in the history of raw as fuck albums. Genuinely can't believe people used to think that liking My Chemical Romance was some kind of a weird edgy thing because the band is iconic as hell, even years after The Black Parade's release.
Holy shit. Can't believe this was somehow made in 1969. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Every song is an absolute fucking experience which just immersed me with the incredible sound and vocals of the band.
Every track brings something new with it and just feels so experimental and ahead of its time. Even Moonchild which seems to be the weakest track, builds up perfectly to the beautiful finale that is In the Court of the Crimson King. One of my favourite albums of all time, ... read more
