this is definitely the most sonically diverse limp bizkit album i've heard so far which works to. varying results. one notable thing is that this is their only album without wes borland on the guitars which definitely shows but not necessarily in a bad way. i think this kind of more progressive/alternative instrumentation also shines a light into a possible universe where they grew past nu-metal and actually made some really captivating alt metal. unfortunately that probably would've ... read more
bangers all around on this album. the tom grooves on this are so satisfying and the guitars are heavy as shit. also the features on this are fucking hilarious like why are chino moreno, corey taylor, and tom araya on the same album as sean lennon. SEAN LENNON ALSO PRODUCED THE WHOLE ALBUM LMAO
the first half is so much better than the second half dude the last like 5 songs are all so bad 😭
one of the most fun albums i've ever heard
yknow surprisingly better than i expected. lots of bangers on here but it does feel kinda samey the whole way through
HOLY SHIT THIS IS GOOD. probably their most shoegazey/dreamy album besides koi no yokan but that album feels like middle of the night yearning while this one feels like summer morning hopefulness. the mixing is a little iffy but i can look past it cause of the usual genius deftones songwriting. it can get kinda dull at points but overall it's peak especially towards the beginning and end
I ❤️ INDUSTRIAL METAL!!! super groovy for pretty much the whole thing and the production is great
i honestly enjoyed this way more than i expected to especially after what a nothingburger the other mudvayne EP was. lots of really catchy and melodic choruses on here with some awesome verse riffs too
some cool stuff on here but nothing really stuck with me too much. idk i don't have a lot to say lmao
baby's first korn album :D pretty damn good, really catchy pretty much all the way through and the mixes are SO good (especially the bass holy shit)
somehow only got around to listening to this now, HOLY SHIT it's good. pretty different from their other stuff and maybe their most aggressive album which i really appreciated. also the guitar tone on this album is so uniquely good??? i can't think of any other guitarists that sound like this except like maybe dimebag but even his is so different
either the second half actually is just better or i just started really getting into it halfway through but regardless i enjoyed the second half more. kinda feels like a hidden gem within the nu-metal world cause i've never heard of this before but it's sick (amir of the desert fucking sucks though why did they put that in)
this album is SO fun. pretty much every song is a banger and you can tell they were really having fun making this. also side note they have one of the best guitar tones ever
